This folder contains material related to President John F. Kennedy's visits to nuclear sites in the United States, including Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory of the University of California in Los Alamos, New Mexico; Sandia Laboratory in Albuquerque, New Mexico; the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission's Nevada Test Site (NTS); and the Nuclear Rocket Development Station (NRDS) in Nevada. The folder also contains background material about Project Rover, which aimed to develop a nuclear rocket.
