Biographical Note
(1928-2009) was the niece of Ambassador Joseph P. and Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy (daughter of Loretta Kennedy, Joseph P. Kennedy’s sister) and first cousin to President John F. Kennedy. McCarthy earned her bachelor's degree from Barry College (University) in 1951 in Miami and became an educator.
