Folder Description
This folder contains materials associated with John F. Kennedy's The Strategy of Peace, a compilation of speeches and statements concerning foreign policy by Senator Kennedy published during the 1960 Presidential campaign. Materials in this folder include edited transcripts of an interview of Senator Kennedy by Harper's Magazine editor John Fischer concerning the prominent domestic and international issues in the 1960 Presidential election, including nuclear weapons proliferation, conflict with the Soviet Union, and America's international relations with Middle Eastern, Southeast Asian, and Latin American nations. Of note is one copy of the transcript with handwritten notations by Senator Kennedy.
