Description
Sound recording of President John F. Kennedy’s address at the 4th convention of the American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organization (AFL-CIO) held at the Americana Hotel in Miami, Florida. In his speech President Kennedy identifies six essential elements to America’s role in promoting international freedom: cooperation of organized labor, securing economic progress, increasing the manpower budget, consideration of import competition, and trade adjustment assistance.
