Description
Sound recording of President John F. Kennedy’s remarks in the White House Flower Garden announcing the New Haven Juvenile Delinquency Grant, a part of the administration’s plan to reduce juvenile delinquency through cooperation with state governments, local communities, and private organizations. In his speech President Kennedy explains the complexity of the problem, noting that issues such as education and employment must also be considered.
