Description
Sound recording of President John F. Kennedy’s remarks at a ceremony honoring the 50th anniversary of Tony Jannus’s flight from Tampa to St. Petersburg, Florida held at Al Lopez Field in Tampa. In his speech President Kennedy discusses Janus’s legacy, and explains how American superiority in aviation enables the country to maintain positive international relations and engage in foreign assistance programs.
