Kennedy from Deputy Secretary of Defense Roswell Gilpatric on the evaluation of paramilitary requirements as referenced in NSAM 56.

McNamara, and Chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) Glenn T. Seaborg from McGeorge Bundy, Special Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs, regarding an agreement of cooperation between the United States and Italy on the uses of atomic energy. Also included in this folder are a memorandum and a letter to Bundy from Deputy Secretary of Defense Roswell Gilpatric concerning approval of actions by President John F. Kennedy, and a proposed letter for the Italian Minister of Defense.
