This folder contains handwritten notes and doodles by John F. Kennedy that were collected and transcribed by his secretary, Evelyn Lincoln. Materials consist of reminder notes for remarks at the dedication of the Whiskeytown, California Dam and Reservoir; two sets of reminder notes written en route from Redding, California to Las Vegas, Nevada; three sets of reminder notes written while staying at the residence of Bing Crosby; a draft of a letter to Senator Spessard Holland; reminder notes written en route from Palm Springs, California to Washington, D.C; notes written during a telephone conversation with Attorney General Robert Kennedy; corrections of a press release regarding First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy’s trip to Greece; and miscellaneous reminder notes.
