Materials are mainly expressions of and responses to public opinion. Of note is an issue of the NASA Lewis Research Center newsletter Orbit; correspondence with lobbyist Florence S. Mahoney, including a report supporting psychiatric screening of prospective Peace Corps volunteers; letters and photographs from Walter S. MacRae, a longtime correspondent of President Kennedy; a holiday card from British Prime Minister Harold Macmillan and Lady Dorothy Macmillan; and a letter from Edward M. Kennedy.
