One of two silver lanterns, given to President John F. Kennedy by the White House Correspondents' Association, hanging in the Oval Office, White House, Washington, D.C. The lanterns are replicas of the lanterns hung in the Old North Church of Boston, Massachusetts, on April 18, 1775, and were made by William de Matteo, the silversmith from Colonial Williamsburg.
