In his speech the President describes a degree from Harvard as an excellent foundation for government employment, especially diplomatic appointments. Materials in this folder include various memoranda, drafts of the speech, a dinner menu, and a telegram to the President from the Board members. Of note are several items with handwritten notations by the President.
