First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy, Caroline Kennedy, John F. Kennedy, Jr., Antoinette Bradlee, and other children have a picnic and some of the children play in the fountain and elsewhere. President John F. Kennedy also joins the group.

Bradlee, his wife Antoinette Bradlee, Senator Claiborne Pell of Rhode Island, his wife Nuala Pell, John Ryan, Mrs. Ryan, and Hugh Ryan, Jr., and others who are unidentified.
