This folder contains material pertaining to an exhibit at the National Archives building in Washington, D.C., of U.S. Navy prints and paintings collected by Franklin D. Roosevelt. The exhibit was titled "The Old Navy, 1776-1860." The prints were from the collections of the Franklin D. Roosevelt Library. Types of items in this file include correspondence, memoranda, forms, drafts, press releases, and a copy of a speech given by naval historian Samuel E. Morison at the exhibit opening.
