Most records pertain to requests for copies of Council of Economic Advisers (CEA) statements before the JEC, administrative preparations for publishing the text of hearings, and CEA reactions to the testimony of others. Items in the file include a speech by James W. Knowles titled "The Crucial Years"; a memorandum from the Subcommittee on Economic Stabilization, Automation, and Energy Resources titled "Policy Aspects of Fluctuations in Business Inventories During the Post-War Period"; testimony by Ben William Lewis; a statement on taxation of foreign earnings; and data on manufacturers' shipments of mobile homes (1952-1960).
