White, various members of the White House staff, and individual citizens concerning civil rights demonstrations, incidents of racially motivated violence, a policy prohibiting separate funeral and burial service contracts for veterans of different races, and the arrest of clergy members in Albany, Georgia, including Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Of note is a telegram to President Kennedy from Dr. King.
