Kennedy [RFK]; working with RFK on civil rights marches and their legislative demands; and interactions with RFK from 1964 through 1968, among other issues.

Kennedy's secretary, Evelyn Lincoln, concerning President Kennedy's remarks at a dinner hosted by Italian President Antonio Segni at the Quirinale Palace in Rome, Italy. In his speech President Kennedy commends President Segni on Italy's role in organizations such as the United Nations and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), identifies progress and social justice as common goals shared by Italy and the United States, and contrasts Western European countries with the communist states of China and the Soviet Union. Materials in this folder include a draft, press copies, a reading copy, and a mimeographed copy of the speech.
