Woodward as the Assistant Secretary of State for Inter-American Affairs. In his speech the President voices his appreciation for the honorees' new roles in making the Alliance for Progress a reality. Materials in this folder include a press copy of the President's remarks (with responses from the honorees and Senator Allen Ellender) and a list of invited guests.
