This scrapbook, compiled by Joseph P. “Joe” Kennedy, Jr., documents his education, travels, and family life from 1938 to 1941. The gold stamped title on the cover reads, "Scrap Book." It contains photographs of and printed ephemera related to trips to Europe in 1938 and 1939; his election as a Massachusetts delegate to the 1940 Democratic National Convention; his enrollment at Harvard Law School in 1940; and time spent with family and friends at the Kennedy family residence in Palm Beach, Florida, and on trips to St. Moritz, Switzerland, and the French Riviera, including at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France. Other destinations pictured in photographic prints and postcards include Mexico, Spain, Poland, Ireland, Bulgaria, Hungary, Italy, and California. Of note are photographs of the Argelès-sur-Mer concentration camp for Republican refugees in Argelès-sur-Mer, France, which Joe, Jr., visited before touring Spain in the final months of the Spanish Civil War, as well as a photograph of Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy christening the Esso Richmond, a new tanker ship, alongside her parents, John F. “Honey Fitz” Fitzgerald and Mary Josephine Hannon Fitzgerald, and her daughter, Eunice Kennedy. Printed ephemera pasted into the scrapbook include invitations to various parties, receptions, luncheons, dinners, weddings, meetings, and banquets, including an event at Buckingham Palace; fliers for discussions, rallies, and debates featuring Joe, Jr., that were held by organizations including College Men for Defense First, Brotherhood of Temple Ohabei Shalom, and the Young Democrats of Massachusetts; Spanish paper currency; and telegrams regarding political events and rallies sent by representatives of both State and National Democratic Committees. Other Kennedy family members and friends pictured in photographs and clippings include Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr.; John F. Kennedy; Rosemary Kennedy; Kathleen Kennedy; Patricia Kennedy; Robert F. Kennedy; Jean Kennedy; Edward M. Kennedy; Torbert Macdonald; Hugh Fraser; Tom Killefer; Tom Egerton; and Diana Maria Gerli. Loose materials include a photographic postcard from Sofia, Bulgaria and Shawmut Bank promotional material, possibly a bookmark. The scrapbook contains 133 photographic prints (including a contact print of a strip of three 35mm black and white negatives, and one photo fragment); 32 photographic postcards; and 62 pieces of ephemera, including invitations, correspondence, telegrams, tickets, newspaper clippings, calling cards, advertisements, programs, and fliers.

This scrapbook, compiled by Edward M. “Teddy” Kennedy (likely with assistance from a governess, nurse, or family member), documents a wide range of activities of the Kennedy family in 1938 and 1939 during Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr.'s tenure as United States Ambassador to the United Kingdom. A handwritten note on the front free endpaper reads, “Teddy Kennedy / 14, Prince’s Gate / London, England” in black ink. Of note are clippings related to the family's trans-Atlantic voyage aboard the S.S. Washington and arrival in London in early 1938; their residence at 14 Prince's Gate in London; aspects of Ambassador Kennedy's diplomatic role, including his first levee (an audience with the king) at St. James's Palace in London, his first speech as Ambassador, and his impressions of the potential for war in Europe and of trade relations between Great Britain and the United States; Joseph P. “Joe” Kennedy, Jr.’s participation in rugby at Harvard University; Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy's attendance at a luncheon at the American Women's Club of London; Rosemary Kennedy and Eunice Kennedy’s arrival in London; Kathleen Kennedy and Rosemary's presentation as debutantes at the Court of St. James's; Teddy and Robert F. “Bobby” Kennedy’s assistance at the ribbon cutting of London’s Children’s Zoo; and a family trip to St. Moritz, Switzerland, following the Christmas holiday in 1938. Also of note are photographs of a mounted police officer and of the Changing of the Guard outside Buckingham Palace that were likely taken by Teddy on his box camera, as well as tickets to the Army versus Royal Air Force rugby match on March 26, 1938, and to the King’s Birthday Parade on June 9, 1938. This scrapbook contains 230 newspaper and magazine clippings, eight photographic prints, and three tickets.

This photograph album, compiled by Eunice Kennedy, documents events in the lives of the Kennedy family from 1927 to 1946. An original typed inscription taped to the inside front cover reads, "I should appreciate it if no one remove pictures from this book. If you do so, it will not be so interesting for other people. Personally, I should like to keep all the pictures to look at myself, because as you know we lost all the moving pictures of you children. Many of these pictures have been lost in the past, due to the clamor of newspapermen, so please do not remove any more. Thank you. Rose Kennedy." Those pictured in photographs include Eunice Kennedy; her parents, Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy and Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr.; her siblings, Joseph P. “Joe” Kennedy, Jr., John F. “Jack” Kennedy, Rosemary Kennedy, Kathleen Kennedy, Patricia “Pat” Kennedy, Robert F. “Bob” Kennedy, Jean Kennedy, and Edward M. “Ted” Kennedy; her grandparents, John F. “Honey Fitz” Fitzgerald and Mary Josephine Hannon Fitzgerald; and family friends, including Tom Killefer, former Boston Police Commissioner Joseph F. Timilty, Patricia “Pat” Skakel, Ethel Skakel, Hugh Fraser, Torbert “Torb” Macdonald, John J. "London Jack" Kennedy, John Jacob "Jakie" Astor, and Tom Egerton. Of note are photographs of Joe, Jr., dressed in drag with his Harvard University football teammates; Rose, Jack, and Eunice in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Jack with his parents and grandparents on the night of his victory in the 1946 primary election for the Massachusetts 11th Congressional District; Joe, Jr., and Kathleen in Spain; the entire Kennedy family at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France, and other locations during a trip to the French Riviera; and the family at their residence in Palm Beach, Florida. Original handwritten captions are written in blue ink on the leaves beneath some photographs. This photograph album contains 58 photographic prints.

The gold stamped title on the cover reads, “Photographs.” Those pictured include Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr., and Rose; their children, Joseph P. “Joe” Kennedy, Jr., John F. “Jack” Kennedy, Rosemary Kennedy, Kathleen, Eunice Kennedy, Patricia “Pat” Kennedy, Robert F. “Bob” Kennedy, Jean Kennedy, and Edward M. “Ted” Kennedy; Rose’s parents, John F. “Honey Fitz” Fitzgerald and Mary Josephine Hannon Fitzgerald; her sister, Agnes Fitzgerald; nanny to the Kennedy children, Katherine “Kikoo” Conboy; governess to the Kennedy children, Alice Cahill; family friends and associates, including Edward E. “Eddie” Moore and Mary Moore, Betsey Cushing Roosevelt, and former Governor of New York, Alfred E. Photographs capture time spent at the family’s primary residence in Bronxville, New York; in Cohasset, Massachusetts, where they rented a cottage near the beach; and at their secondary residences in Palm Beach, Florida, and Hyannis Port, Massachusetts. Of note are photographs of an unidentified nurse holding Ted at Saint Margaret's Hospital in Dorchester, Massachusetts, five days after his birth; a visit to the Ostrich-Alligator Farm & Zoo in Lantana, Palm Beach County, Florida; views of the Kennedy family home in Palm Beach; boxing matches at the Sea Spray Club in Palm Beach, in which Bob and Ted participated; Eunice and Eddie Moore fishing in Palm Beach; Joe, Jr., dressed in drag with classmates at Harvard University; and family members and friends participating in both warm-weather and cold-weather outdoor activities. Many leaves contain original handwritten captions in white ink, in two different hands, although the handwriting does not belong to Rose or Kathleen, and the writers have not been determined. This photograph album contains 93 photographic prints and two photograph fragments.
