Topics include the physical fitness program in the United States Marine Corps, Selective Service rejections due to physical disability, a progress report of the Council on Youth Fitness, and the resignation of Shane MacCarthy as Executive Director of the Council. Also included in this folder is a statement by Director of the Selective Service System Lewis B. Hershey titled, “Need for a Campaign for Physical Fitness,” and dated June 17, 1956.
