Also included are copies of introductory remarks by Senator Lyndon B. Johnson. In his speech Senator Kennedy discusses the need for progress in industry and agriculture, and argues that the Democratic Party will best represent the state. In Senator Johnson's remarks, he reflects on the themes of Senator Kennedy's campaign. The press release compares the farm program put forth by each political party.
