Topics include Executive Order 10925 that established a committee on equal employment opportunity, suggestions by Secretary of Labor Arthur J. Goldberg for the reorganization of the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency), a comparison of gains between workers and stockholders for General Motors and Ford Motor Company, and an Executive order establishing a program for resolving labor disputes at missile and spaces sites. Also included in this folder is a report by Goldberg titled, “A Program for Labor Action in Latin America.”

Records 1953-1964 (bulk 1961-1963). Microfilm copies of records created by the Department of Labor during the Kennedy administration, consisting of reading files of correspondence by the Secretary of Labor and other department officials, reports, studies, briefing materials, speeches, press releases, and publications. Also includes records of the Under Secretary of Labor, the Solicitor of Labor, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Office of Policy Planning and Research, the Women's Bureau, the Bureau of Employment Security, the Office of Manpower Automation and Training, and the President's Committee on Equal Employment Opportunity. Hard copy printed material includes publications, reports, periodicals, newsletters, statistics and data sets, speeches, press releases, articles, booklets and pamphlets, and promotional material.
