Porcelain plates purchased in 1892 during President Benjamin Harrison’s administration and manufactured by Tressemannes & Vogt. The plate on the left is a dinner plate with a dark blue border decorated with corn and goldenrod and 48 gold stars encircling the well of the plate. The plate on the right is a breakfast plate with a white border decorated with corn and goldenrod and an inner blue band with 48 gold stars. Both plates have a version of the United States coat of arms painted in the center.
