Kennedy (seated), looks on. The following is handwritten on the verso of the photograph: "by Joseph E. Manion, Dowd Agency, copy." Joseph E. Manion of the Dowd Agency sent the photograph to Evelyn Lincoln, former Personal Secretary to President John F. Kennedy, with a letter dated June 26, 1964.
