Of note is correspondence between Mary W. Davis, Representative Kennedy's secretary in the Washington, D.C. congressional office, and Grace M. Burke, secretary at the Boston congressional office, regarding the immigration status of Latvian refugee Captain J. W. Rosenberg; personal appeals made to Representative Kennedy by Captain Rosenberg and his wife, Mirdza E. Rozenbergs; and correspondence concerning legislation under consideration by the House Subcommittee on Immigration and Naturalization.
