In his speech the Senator discusses bi-partisan leadership and the United States economy, and a need for legislation to strengthen the agricultural industry. Of note are drafts with notations by Senator Kennedy. Also included are drafts of speeches for Jefferson-Jackson day dinners in Vermont and New Hampshire.
