Boston, MA – Today, the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum announced it has processed and made available for research the personal papers of Victor S. Navasky , journalist and author of Kennedy Justice, a book about Robert F. Kennedy’s role as Attorney General. The papers are a collection of approximately 22 cubic feet, consisting of research materials, drafts, interviews, notes, and correspondence. The collection spans from 1954 to 1976.

Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum announced it has processed and made available for research the White House Staff Files of Dorothy Davies, Staff Assistant to President Kennedy in the Office of Personnel and Miscellaneous Staff Service. The papers are a collection of approximately 255 cubic feet, consisting of correspondence, memorandums, and files relating to the recruitment of Presidential and non-Presidential appointees that span from 1961 to 1964.
Boston, MA – The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum today announced that it has declassified and made available for research approximately twelve hours of tape recordings of White House meetings that took place between May 15 and June 1, 1963. The release coincides with the 45th anniversary of John F. Kennedy’s 1960 victory in the November 8 presidential election. Kennedy was the youngest man ever elected to this office and the first President born in the 20th century.

Born on May 29, 1917 in Brookline, Massachusetts, John F. Kennedy was one of nine children born to Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy and Joseph P. Kennedy.

Boston, MA – Today the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum announced that it will host a public symposium on the civil rights movement in Boston. The symposium, which will take place from November 3 – 4, 2006, will feature James Breeden, Sarah Ann Shaw, Mel King, Virgil Wood, and Byron Rushing who all fought for justice during the civil rights movement of the 1960’s. This event is being presented by the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, the Massachusetts Historical Society and the Museum of African American History.
Special Exhibit: Presidential Letters: A Selection from JFK’s Historic Collection On Thursday, February 12, 2009, the Museum at the John F. Special Exhibit Celebrates 50th Anniversary of the Wedding of Jacqueline Bouvier and John F. Kennedy
BOSTON—On May 15, 2003, the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum will open a special exhibit to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the September 12, 1953, wedding of Jacqueline Bouvier and John Fitzgerald Kennedy. The Museum exhibit will run through October 31, 2003.
